All necessary conditions are created at Adam University for conducting educational, laboratory and practical classes. The laboratory fund of the university has equipment, working models, mock-ups and models, chemical utensils, reagents, test reagents for practical classes in physics, chemistry, biology, biochemistry, microbiology, anatomy, physiology, histology, embryology and other areas.

In order to create favorable conditions for students to study in accordance with the requirements of state standards, the needs to improve the quality of education and prepare graduates who are internationally competitive, in 2021 a laboratory support department was established, the main tasks of which were:

  • Modernization of the educational laboratory base, formation of inter-program educational and research laboratories, promotion of projects.
  • Development of the competencies of teachers and students in the development of basic practical methods and innovative laboratory technologies closely related to the formation of practical skills.
  • Creation of educational and scientific laboratories for collective use to meet the needs of students in mastering practical skills and, in the future, conducting research work of both students and teaching staff.

The head of the department is Ilya Anatolyevich Domashov, Acting associate professor. The department provides teaching of subjects of the professional cycle of all university programs. The department employs 2 simulation center assistants and 3 laboratory assistants, including 4 full-time and 2 part-time employees.

Laboratories and technical equipment:

The Laboratory Support Department of the University organizes the work of all laboratories of the university. It includes all the educational and scientific laboratories of Adam University, namely:

  6. Anotamic Museum

The laboratories are equipped with educational and scientific equipment (microscopes, scales, pH meters, distiller, autoclave, thermostat, etc.), necessary chemical utensils, reagents, educational materials, posters and stands. In the anatomical museum and in the classrooms, teachers and students have access to an interactive pie table.
Before starting work, all students receive safety instructions, study the specifics of working with equipment and reagents.
The laboratories are equipped with first aid equipment, ventilation systems, equipment necessary for disinfection, fire extinguishing equipment, methodological and other materials necessary for safe, comfortable and effective educational activities of Adam University.
All the information necessary for the work of laboratories, including safety precautions, laboratory passports are available directly in the laboratories of the university.

Adam University Simulation Center

The Adam University Simulation Center was organized in 2021 according to the internal order for Adam University dated 11.10.2021 No. 87a/3-OD. For 2024, the simcenter includes the following stations

  1. The "therapy" station
  2. Pediatrics Station
  3. Obstetrics and Gynecology Station
  4. Surgery and Emergency Care Station

The main purpose of the simulation center is to train highly qualified healthcare professionals with practical competencies necessary for the effective operation of future medical professionals and timely provision of full necessary medical care, developing as high-quality and in-demand specialists in the context of the mission of Adam University, the mission of the Higher School of Medicine, in accordance with the requirements of regulatory documents of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, and reforms of medical education in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The tasks of the Adam University Simulation Center include:
- actualization of traditional forms of education and the introduction of innovative approaches, including in combination with non-technical skills,
- quality control of the formation and improvement of practical professional skills among students of Adam University,
- mastering and consolidating algorithms for performing various medical manipulations,
- team and individual training of practical skills on dummies under the guidance of teachers, station managers,
- development of clinical thinking using training programs and dummies;
- development of abilities to analyze situations and assess the adequacy of the manipulations carried out;
- quality control of the development of practical skills through the conduct of OSCE, or mini-clinical exams.

To date, the simulation center is equipped with mannequins for mastering practical therapeutic, surgical, gynecological competencies, as well as the formation of emergency medical care skills.
