Math quiz "Lucky Chance"

On 27.11.2020, a math quiz "Lucky Chance" was held online at Adam University through the ZOOM program. The event was organized by A.N. Varshakidze, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Humanities and Fundamental Disciplines.

The quiz was attended by 1st year students of E-1-20, E-2-20, M-3-20, UB-4-20, T-5-20, IST-6-20 groups. There were created 3 teams (Square, Circle, Rhombus).

The purpose of the quiz:

1) to develop students' creative abilities

2) develop students' knowledge in the subject

3) inculcate a cognitive interest in mathematics

4) broaden students' horizons

5) Learn to work in a team.

The game consisted of 5 rounds. In each round participants scored points corresponding to each question. The counting board, composed of: Associate Professors: Abdykadyrova M.B., Ibrayeva I.A., professor Kubanychbek K.A.

As a result, gr. E-2-20 (team "Circle") scored 175 points, gr. E-1-20 (team "Square") - 125 points, and the combined team (team "Rhombus") - 100 points. Group E-2-20 won.

Quiz participants will receive math incentive points for the first semester of the 2020-2021 academic year.
