COMPETITION “BLOOD AS A MIRROR OF HEALTH”
The Department of Morphological Disciplines and HP of Adam University held a competition on 18.04.2024 on normal physiology "Blood as a mirror of health" among students of the 2nd and 3rd semesters.
Purpose of competition:
- to increase the level of knowledge of students in the field of normal physiology;
- formation of students' skills and abilities in the practical part of laboratory work;
- the use by students of the acquired knowledge, skills and abilities in the discipline;
The competition was attended by 3 teams (Antibiotics, Hemostasis, Blood cells) of 4 students each.
The participants were provided with clinical and laboratory blood tests (general blood analysis, detailed blood analysis, physical and chemical properties of blood), as well as situational tasks.
The first stage consisted of a quiz in the form of a blitz survey using the educational app Kahoot.
At the second stage, the participants demonstrated their skills in performing laboratory work and the third stage was the solution of situational tasks.
At the end of the competition, the teams were awarded certificates, as well as diplomas of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degrees!

The organizers and participants of the competition had a great pleasure. In the future, the department of MD and PH plans to hold such events regularly among both local and international students.
