An event dedicated to the memory of Chingiz Aitmatov was held at Adam University on December 15
The event began with a welcoming speech by the Vice-rector A. A. Zhamangulov, who noted that Chingiz Aitmatov is a recognized genius who managed to take his work beyond the national literature and make it a world heritage.
Then our first-year students creatively approached the event: they prepared presentations about the life and creative path of the writer, interesting facts from his biography, read parts from their favorite works and sang songs about love and about the beauty of the human soul.
