Adam University Presented the Results of Implementing the Financial Autonomy Model within the DEFA Project
Adam University presented the results of implementing the Financial Autonomy Model under the DEFA (Development of Financial Autonomy in Universities) project.
Rector Svetlana Sirmbard noted that the model has become an integral part of the University’s Development Strategy until 2030 and a key instrument for enhancing management efficiency.
The University has introduced ERP modules, a KPI system, a risk register, and internal monitoring mechanisms, as well as conducted staff training. These steps have ensured financial transparency, increased non-budgetary revenues, and improved institutional sustainability.
Financial autonomy has become a cornerstone of the University’s innovative and responsible culture.
Concluding her speech, the Rector emphasized:
“We did not just implement a model — we made it part of our university culture: a culture of responsibility, transparency, and innovation.”
