International cooperation of the Adam University School of Medicine: a new stage in the development of medical education
From June 1 to 11, 2025, a delegation from the Adam University School of Medicine made an official trip to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in order to establish a strategic partnership with the country's leading medical institutions. The main focus of the visit is to expand the possibilities of industrial practice and clinical internship for medical students.
During the visit, partnerships were established and signed with the following medical institutions:
Family Clinic, Islamabad
Five clinics, Sangla Hill
Sheikh Zayed Hospital (1,000 beds), Rahim Yar Khan
DHQ Hospital (380 beds) and Arif Hospital, Bahawalnagar
THQ Hospital, Minchinabad (80-90 beds)
THQ Hospital, Haveli Lakha (60 beds)
The agreements signed provide opportunities for clinical practice and internships for more than 200 students at the Higher School of Medicine. These internships cover a wide range of medical fields, from primary healthcare to specialized hospital therapy.
This initiative demonstrates the university's dedicated efforts to internationalize medical education, enhance the clinical competence of future doctors, and incorporate best practices into the educational process. The established partnerships also contribute to the advancement of medical science by providing students with access to diverse patient populations, advanced medical technologies, and a multicultural environment.
Adam University School of Medicine demonstrates a sustainable strategy of integration into the international medical community, strengthening the university's status as a center for training highly qualified medical personnel with global thinking and professional flexibility.
