Credit mobility is one of the key activities of the Erasmus+ program. Numerous grants are available for students and teachers for academic mobility programs with partner countries Erasmus+ ICM offers selected incoming students €850 per month plus transportation costs. Student mobility is intended for bachelor's, master's and postgraduate students (1-3 higher education levels). There are no restrictions in terms of academic disciplines. The duration of the mobility program is from 3 to 12 months (but not less than 1 completed period, e.g. trimester or semester, depending on the organization of the educational process in the host university).

The mobility programs for university faculty and staff provide an opportunity to teach or upgrade their qualifications. The mobility program for faculty members provides 8 hours of classroom training per week. The mobility program takes between 3 and 12 months to complete.
The Erasmus+ program provides new perspectives for students, teachers and staff of higher education institutions within the framework of academic mobility. One of the main directions is international academic mobility, including short-term exchange projects for university teaching staff. The movement of students and teaching staff plays a significant role in the higher education system, contributing to the progress of university cooperation. It becomes an incentive to improve teaching, international and student services, as well as to modernize and compare educational programmes.
Additionally, mobility promotes the development of more effective internationalization strategies, which in turn is an engine of change in higher education. Thus, the cooperation within the Erasmus + program for academic staff, faculty members and university administrative staff has a positive impact on the level of higher education through the improvement of mechanisms for the recognition of academic achievements.
